As an exclusive event for CBKA members only, sign in and bidder registration will be required. This is a perfect opportunity to grab a bargain. We've got a fantastic selection of items, from parts to whole hives.
Auction Details:
Doors open for bidders at 5:30 pm.
All items must be placed and ready for showing by 6 pm sharp. Anything after this time will be removed from the auction.
Bidding starts at 7 pm sharp!
Please note: No live bees will be sold at this auction.
Auction Terms & Conditions
Item Delivery
All auction items must be delivered to the venue between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on the day of the auction.
Items will only be accepted with a completed sellers form.
Previewing of lots begins at 5:30 PM.
The auction will commence promptly at 7:00 PM
BUYERS must register in advance either via the link below or on the night before the start of the auction.
Lot Limit & Restrictions
A maximum of 100 lots will be accepted.
Live bees will not be accepted or sold under any circumstances, submitting a registration for live bees will result in ALL your items being removed from auction.
All equipment will be inspected prior to entry.
The Committee reserves the right to exclude any item that does not meet acceptable standards. Items such as drawn comb, rusted tinware, and non beekeeping goods will not be accepted.
Payments & Proceeds
Card payments only will be accepted at the auction.
Vendors will receive payment via BACS transfer within 7 days of the auction.
Vendors may set a reserve price when registering their items.
Once an item has been accepted and booked in, it cannot be withdrawn from sale.
Starting bids will begin at a minimum of £2.00.
Bidding & Collection
All BUYERS must register with the Treasurer and obtain a bidding card.
Items become the property of the purchaser only upon full payment.
Goods will be released only upon presentation of a receipt issued by the Treasurer.
All purchased items must be collected by 10:00 PM on the evening of the auction.
Unsold items must be collected by 9:30 PM, unless alternative arrangements have been made with a steward or stallholder.
Important Notes
Electrical items must be PAT tested or accompanied by appropriate certification.
All equipment must be sterilised prior to acceptance.
It is strongly advised that all second-hand equipment be sterilised before use—either by blowlamp or washing soda—to prevent the spread of bee diseases.
